Test Description in English

Short Description

Register, Update and Merge a Patient in a PIX Manager

Goal

This test verifies the required steps to register update and merge Patient in a PIX Manager

Tested Components

  • Patient Identity Source
  • Patient Identity Cross Reference (PIX) Manager

Prerequisite

Test CHPIX_CHPDQ_SERVER_CONF_PAT must be run by the PIX Manager before this one can be done.

Otherwise, the needed Patient information to complete this Test will be missing in the PIX Manager.

Test Data

  • The Patient Identity Source needs to have an Assigning Authority assigned to its own system for identifying that source. That Assigning Authority value uniquely identified each Patient Identity Source.
  • This Assigning Authority can be found in Gazelle, therefor navigate to Configuration --> OIDs for current session, then choose the ID assigned to your Patient Identity Source.
  • Patient ID Sources SHALL NOT use a common value (i.e. a patient ID in the Red, Green or Blue domain), they SHALL use the provided value by Gazelle

    Tooling

If available, you SHALL use the gazelle proxy with this test.

The tracked Data in the proxy helps with debugging and evaluation.

    Description

The Patient Identity Source SHALL create and send a patient identifier with the Assigning Authority provided by Gazelle Patient Manager for three patients:

    • BERGAN OVIE
    • ALICE MAIDEN (this is a patient's maiden name)
    • ALESSANDRA Ehrxyzmedical

The Last name of this Patient SHALL match your system name (This is the patient's married name.)

This Patient SHALL use a own generated patient ID

Later, this patient's first name is updated ANDREA.

Make sure to send the EPR-SPID of a patient when feeding them (data available here : https://ehealthsuisse.ihe-europe.net/PatientManager/patient/allPatients.seam?actor=13&date=ANY|1600691336220|1600691336220&testData=false)

    Evidence

The Patient Identity Source SHALL demonstrate and pass these three capabilities, otherwise the test is marked as failed.

    1.  Admit/register a patient with PRPA_IN201301UV02 - Patient Registry Record Added
    2. Update a patient with PRPA_IN201302UV02 - Patient Registry Record Revised
    3. Patient identity merge with PRPA_IN201304UV02 - Patient Registry Duplicates Resolved

    Evaluation

In order to verify the test the Connectathon monitor will ask the following:

    • One of the two actors will have to show the HL7 messages transmitted between the 2 actors
    • The PIX Consumer sends a query with the Patient Identity Sources’s local ID to retrieve the global ID for BERGAN OVIE. The Response SHALL match the values (CHPAM9810, 761337610435209810, CHFACILITY9810)
    • The Actors SHALL proof that the Patient ALICE MAIDEN has been merged with the Patient ALESSANDRA "Ehrxyzmedical”
    • An update (PRPA_IN201302UV02) was sent when the patient first name was updated from ALYSSA to ALICE. There was no change in Patient ID.
    • For all FEED transactions, the patient SHALL be identified by his local id and his EPR-SPID.
    • Observe the Patient ID's that were recorded during the test. Patient ID for Ehrxyzmedical^ALICE survives. Patient ID for ALICE has been merged.
    • The acknowledgement code for all Message SHALL be CA
    • /!\ Each Request's Patient SHALL have exactly 2 ids : the EPR-SPID and a local id.
