Special instructions

This test is run against the Patient Manager tool which acts as a Patient Identifier Cross-Reference Manager in this test. Configure your system to send feeds to this sytem. The URL of the SOAP endpoint is available under PIX* > Patient Identifier Cross-Reference Manager > HL7v3 configuration. This simulator accepts all assigning authorities, use the one assigned to your system under test.

Description

The purpose of this test is to verify that your system is able to produce HL7v3 messages which are conform to the ITI-44 Patient Identity Feed HL7V3 transaction. You wil register two patients, update the demographics of one of them and finally merge them because it appears that, after verification, they are the same person. Patient identifiers will be assigned by your system.

Demographics for patient 1:

  • FirstName: Kata
  • LastName (birth name): Viret
  • Mother Maiden Name : Tauxe
  • Gender: Female
  • Date Of Birth: June, 8th 1960
  • Mailing address: Imfeldstrasse 2, Wettingen 5430, SWITZERLAND

Demographics for patient 2:

  • FirstName: Kata
  • LastName (birth name): Virer
  • Mother Maiden Name : Tauxe
  • Gender: Female
  • Date Of Birth: June, 18th 1960
  • Mailing address: Imfeldstrasse 2, Wettingen 5430, SWITZERLAND

For each step, you are requested to provide the permanent link to the message exchanged with the simulator. Those are available from the menu HL7 messages. To facilitate your search, you can filter by SUT IP address in "Initiator" column. Once you have find your message,

  1. Click on the play icon next to the request message type to trigger the validation of the message sent by your system. We expect the outcome of the validation to be PASSED.
  2. Right-click on the magnifying glass icon (last column) and copy/paste the permanent link in the test step using the "Add link" feature. 

Evaluation

We do not care about the status of the acknowledgement returned by the tool. Ideally it would be CA.

All the messages issued by the System Under Test shall have a validation result set to PASSED.
