Special Instructions
You shall have run CHPIXV3_MGR_CONF as a pre-requisite to this test so that your system is already configured.
This test is run using the Gazelle Patient Manager tool acting as a PIXV3 Patient Identity Source and PIXV3 Patient Identity Cross-Reference Consumer.
The messages your system under test exchanges with the tool will be captured and validated against the Gazelle HL7 Validator (model-based validation engine).
Description
The purpose of this test is to check the ability of your system to integrate the PIXV3 Feed messages. The add record, revise record and duplicates resolved operations are in the scope of this test.
If it is your first test against the Patient Manager tool, enter the configuration of your system:
- Log into the application
- Go to SUT Configurations > HL7v3 responders and click on "Create a new configuration" at the bottom of the page.
- Fill out the form, the keyword for the configuration shall be PIXMGR_{YOUR_SYSTEM_KEYWORD}
Once the simulator knows the configuration of your system, go to PIX* > Patient Identity Source > [ITI-44] Patient Identity Feed HL7v3. Select your system under test in the drop-down list and follow the instructions from the "Test steps" section.
For
each ITI-44 step, you are requested to provide the permanent link to the
message exchanged with the simulator. Once the simulator has received
the response from your system, a report is displayed at the bottom of
the page. Scroll down to this section, ,
- Click
on the play icon next to the response message type to trigger the
validation of the message sent by your system. We expect the outcome of
the validation to be PASSED.
- Right-click
on the magnifying glass icon (last column) and copy/paste the permanent
link in the test step using the "Add link" feature.
- Upload
a screenshot of the result received by your system, demonstrating that
your system correctly integrates the request from the simulator
Finally you will use Patient Manager to query your system and thus confirm that the patients have been merged.
Go to PIX* > Patient Identity Consumer > [ITI-45] PIXV3 Query and execute the pre-defined query named "CHPIXV3_MGR_ITI-44 - step 70". Then :
- Right-click
on the magnifying glass icon (last column) and copy/paste the permanent
link in the test step using the "Add link" feature.
Evaluation
The monitor will check that all the messages produced by your system under test successfully pass the validation against the tool.
In addition, he/she will make sure that the acknowledgement code is AA. And finally, you need to prove that the patients are correctly created/updated/merged in your system.
