Special Instructions

You must have run CHXCPD_RESP-GW_CONF test case before running this one.

The following tests will be run against the Gazelle Patient Manager tool which will act as a XCPD Initiating Gateway.

The messages produced by your System Under Test will be validating against the Gazelle HL7 Validator tool (model-based validation).

Description

The purpose of this test is to verify that your Responding Gateway correctly handles and responds to the Cross-Community Patient Discovery query.

If you did not do it during the preparatory test, log into Patient Manager and register your system under test under the SUT Configurations > HL7v3 Responders menu.

Details on the test steps to execute are given in the next section (Test Steps). To execute a query, go to XCPD > Initiating Gateway > [ITI-55] Cross-Community Patient Discovery and

Select your system under test in the dropdown list
Select the appropriate entry in the "pre-defined query" drop-down list
Click on "Send message" button

For each step, you are requested to provide the permanent link to the message exchanged with the simulator. Once the simulator has received the response from your system, a report is displayed at the bottom of the page. Click on the play icon next to the response message type to trigger the validation of the message sent by your system. We expect the outcome of the validation to be PASSED.
Right-click on the magnifying glass icon (last column) and copy/paste the permanent link in the test step using the "Add link" feature.

Evaluation

The validation status for the messages issued by the system under test shall be PASSED.

In addition, the monitor will check that the results returned corresponds to the pre-defined requests.
