Special Instructions

This test is run against the Gazelle Patient Manager tool which will act as a CH:XCPD Responding Gateway. The messages produced by your System Under Test will be validated by the Gazelle HL7 Validator tool (model-based validation).

Description

The purpose of this test is to verify that your XCPD Initiating Gateway produces valid Cross-Community Patient Discovery messages (PRPA_IN201305UV02).

As a first step, configure your system under test to interact with Patient Manager. The configuration details for the XCPD Responding Gateway are available under XCPD > Responding Gateway.

Then, execute the step from the "Test steps" section of this test. You are requested to provide the permanent link to the message exchanged with the simulator. Those are available from menu HL7 messages. To facilitate your search, you can filter by SUT IP address in "Initiator" column. Once you have found your message,

Click on the play icon next to the request message type to trigger the validation of the message sent by your system. We expect the outcome of the validation to be PASSED.
Right-click on the message id (first column) and copy/paste the link in the test instance.
Demonstrate to the monitor that your system has been able to parse the response received from the tool and upload a screenshot as an evidence in the test instance.

Evaluation

The messages sent by your system will be validated by the Gazelle HL7 Validator. The validation status shall be PASSED for all of them.

Verify that the system under test has been able to parse the response and to display the details for patient Roman Remo Emery.
