Special Instructions

The following tests will be run against the Gazelle Patient Manager tool which will act as a PDQV3 Patient Demographics Consumer.

The messages produced by your System Under Test will be validating against the Gazelle HL7 Validator tool (model-based validation).

Pre-conditions:

The PDQV3 Supplier is configured to send and receive demographics in a single domain: CHPAM&1.3.6.1.4.1.12559.11.20.1&ISO

You must have run CHPIX_CHPDQ_SERVER_CONF test case before running this one.

Description

This test case covers the PDQV3 Query Case 1: The Patient Demographics Supplier finds (in the patient information source associated with Receiver.Device in the query transmission wrapper) at least one patient record matching the criteria sent in the query parameters. There were no OtherIDsScopingOrganization parameters in the query.

The purpose of this test is to verify that your Patient Demographics Supplier supports the multiple query parameters.

The following queries are tested:

Query on the patient first and last name
Query on the patient's identifier
Query on the patient's name and the date of birth
Query on the patient's name and the administrative sex
Query on the patient's the address (street, city, and zip code)

To execute a query, go to PDQ* > Patient Demographics Consumer > [ITI-47] Patient Demographics Query HL7v3 and

Select your system under test in the dropdown list
Select the appropriate entry in the "pre-defined query" drop-down list
Click on "Send message" button

For each step, you are requested to provide the permanent link to the message exchanged with the simulator. Once the simulator has received the response from your system, a report is displayed at the bottom of the page. Scroll down to this section,

Click on the play icon next to the response message type to trigger the validation of the message sent by your system. We expect the outcome of the validation to be PASSED.
Right-click on the magnifying glass icon (last column) and copy/paste the permanent link in the test step using the "Add link" feature.

Evaluation

The messages returned by your system under test will be validating by the Gazelle HL7 Validator. All the messages issued by your system shall have the PASSED validation status.

In addition, the monitor will perform the following checks:

In each PRPA_IN201306UV02 message, AA (application accept) is returned in Acknowledgement.typeCode (transmission wrapper) and OK (data found, no errors) is returned in QueryAck.queryResponseCode (control act wrapper)
